This is my 5th Mac in a row, I love them obviously. They all still work but at the moment I’ve been over using my ibook and I’m looking forward to using the Intel chips with either boot camp or paralells the best of all worlds.
For the writing work that is so much of my day their rock-solid performance, ease of use and just constant excellence is a must – don’t speak to my about Dell !

It is supposed to be, as you might guess, cut-price. This is an interesting development as certainly Microsoft are going to feel the squeeze as consumers demand better value from software. As with the food at Tesco it must raise questions of quality vs price.

A fascinating and disturbing post here about Apple’s green credentials.
As an Apple fan, it is disturbing, maybe it is time for Mac users to start to put pressure on for a greener apple.

I was idly wondering if I might like to purchase an Apple iSight webcam, only to find the apple UK store no longer seems to stock it and Amazon seems to have followed suit.
This seems a little rash as Skype have just released a beta that supports video for macs, so just as the potential booms the camera disappears.
